Secondary Antibodies
Antiserum
ImmunoReagents obtains serum from goats, rabbits and donkeys immunized with highly purified proteins. The animals are housed in USDA licensed facilities in the United States and are under the care of registered veterinarians. All animal facilities are approved for 1774/2002 as blood collection centers.
IgY Fractions
Chicken antibodies are obtained by immunizing hens with highly purified antigens, and then isolating the IgY from eggs. All hens are in USDA licensed facilities in the United States.
Affinity Purification
ImmunoReagents couples highly purified proteins to resins for use in specific antigen affinity chromatography. We use state of the art chromatography processes and our scientists have extensive training and experience in affinity chromatography.
Quality Control
SDS-PAGE reducing gels are used to determine antibody purity. We use immunoelectrophoresis (IEP) to determine the specific affinity of our secondary antibodies.
